Desktop label changes - Phase 1 |
This has been implemented in AudienceView 7.0.0 LA. Recognizing that Events is a less art-specific and more inclusive term for all of the kinds of events that can be created in AudienceView, many labels within the Desktop that used the term Performance have been updated to Event. The following changes have also been made: •The Venue Configuration application is now the Event Configuration application •The Performance Management tab is now Admissions Management •The Utilities application's Performance tab is now Admissions Labels for TSperformanceBO have been updated, too, but labels for all other objects have not; therefore, some areas of the Desktop UI is a mix of the old and new terminology. These labels will continue to be updated with the 7.X.X LA releases. |

Improvements to the Performance Availability report. |
This has been implemented in AudienceView 7.0.0 LA. The following updates have been made to the output of the Performance Availability report: 1.The word Net has been removed from 'Open', 'Held', 'Offer' and 'Capacity' projected value columns. Sales are required to determine net. 2.The word Projected has been removed from the 'Paid' and 'Unpaid' columns. These numbers are actuals. 3.The 'Projected Value' column has been removed from comps. By definition, comps have a zero value. 4.The 'Capacity % Capacity' column has been removed. It was always 100%.
Calculation of the 'Net Projected' column versus the 'Projected Value' column: Net value uses the admission price on the order. As a result, it can determine the net value of the admission. Projected value is used on 'Open', 'Held' and 'Offer'. This value comes from the number of admissions multiplied by the model on the performance. Since a model has no charges configured, the 'Net' cannot be derived. The Projected value under 'Capacity' is a sum of the values in the report. This is a combination of projected and actual and becomes more accurate as sales progress. |

Reporting framework improvements |
This has been implemented in AudienceView 7.0.0 LA. The Registry application System::Application::Business Intelligence and Reports::Reporting Styles nodes have been renamed to their internal style names and the two new header and total style options have been added.
Table column widths that are auto-adjusted to fit the page have been improved in AVDOC. Header cells with column span greater than 1 are now weighed to take up more of the distributed column width, and that weighting is based on the size of their column span.
Cell-type-specific default alignments in AVDOC and HTML have been improved. Cells containing text labels will be left-aligned and cells containing numerical values will be right-aligned. Table header cells are not affected.
To align with the HTML and AVDOC output, CSV percentages are now limited to two decimal places. |
