Desktop - Improve the usability of the Event Configuration application Events|Ticket Usage page.
Functionally, the Event Configuration application Events|Ticket Usage page has not changed, but the page now operates in two distinct modes. A sliding toggle has been added at the top of the page to control the mode.
In the default, 'View Ticket Status and Seat History' mode the users can view the status of the seats (sold, printed and used), and they can generate the Seat History report with a single-click on a seat.
By switching the toggle, users can 'Force In-Flight Seats to Open Status'. In this mode, only in-flight seats (i.e. seats that have been added to an order that has not yet been created) are active. All other seats are disabled. User can click on any selection of seats in-flight, and use the 'Set to Open' button to force the admissions back to open status. |

Event Configuration application Venue|Sections page •The 'Section GA Capacity' and 'Sys Section' fields are displayed and required if the venue 'Type' is set to General Admission; otherwise, they are hidden. •If the venue 'Type' is set to Reserved and General Admission, then a 'Section Type' field is exposed, where the user can select Reserved or General Admission. This value will determine if the 'Section GA Capacit'y and 'Sys Section' fields are displayed.
Event Configuration application Venue|Screens page •If the venue 'Type' is set to General Admission, then a message is displayed, indicating that screens are not required for GA venues.
Event Configuration application Venue|Seats page •If no screens have been configured, then a message is displayed, indicating that seats can only be added after screens have been configured. •When creating a block of seats, the 'Number of Rows' and 'Number of Seats' fields have been removed. The fields were from the earlier method of creating General Admission seats. •If the venue 'Type' is set to Reserved and General Admission, then the 'Section' dropdown, which is displayed when adding or editing seats, will only include sections with the 'Type' set to Reserved.
Event Owner Portal •The Event Owner Portal has been updated to set the venue type for all venues (called 'Locations' in the portal) to General Admission. This happens in the back end and is not exposed to the user. |
