AudienceView Unlimited uses four-digit message numbers and Bluefin uses five-digit messages numbers.

Message # 5009:

The card swipe processing has failed. Swipe again. If you are using an encrypted card swiper, ensure the correct terminal is selected.

You forgot to select a terminal in settings. Press CTRL+S, select a terminal, and try again

Message # 2019:

Payment was declined by the payment processor

You may see this message if you have a terminal selected but are trying to enter data through the keyboard. If you choose a terminal in Bluefin, you cannot use the keyboard.

 

Either select a terminal and use the terminal or do not select a terminal and enter the information through the keyboard or a plain swiper.

Message #1497:

Address information is incorrect

This is an address verification message.

Correct the address

OR

if the incidents happen on known good addresses

 

Turn off AVS on the Bluefin node in the Registry

OR

Move LWZ – Zip code match, address is wrong to 'avs_results_rejected'

 

While many people know their street address, and possibly their correct postal address, they may or may not have used that for their credit card billing address.

30099: EXCEPTION - Merchant Phone Number is required in MOTO transactions, and must be 10 digits

Contact Bluefin support – this is an account setting error.

30404: Could not read card data

Contact Bluefin

30422: Forbidden: POI device is not active for this account

Please login to the POI manager and change the device to Deployed and you will be able to process sales.
