Appendix A - Default Alert Messages

errorIcon

Error messages are generally used for system errors. To resolve these errors, you may have to contact your system administrator.

The error messages listed below can be customized via the Registry - Registry::EN::Alerts::Error node.

 

 

infoIcon

Information messages inform you of an error that you can correct, such as failing to fill in a mandatory field or using invalid characters. To continue, you must resolve the issue. When an information message appears, an error icon (mandatory) displays next to the field(s) in question. To view the details of the error, hold your mouse over the icon to display a short description of the error message.

All of the Information Messages listed below can be customized via the Registry - Registry::EN::Alerts::Info node.

 

 

 

 

warningIcon

Warning messages prompt you to confirm the action you are performing. You can:

Click 'OK' to proceed

Click 'Cancel' to return to the application without completing the action.

The warning messages listed below can be customized via the Registry - Registry::EN::Alerts::Warning node.

Warning messages can also be suppressed via Roles. For more information, refer to Suppressing Warning Messages and Configuring Roles.
