Miscellaneous items require the following configurations to be made available for sale on POS:
On the Application Security - Roles|Basic page (for a POS-specific role):
The 'Default Delivery Method' dropdown should be set to Pick Up Later.

On the Product Configuration - Miscellaneous Items|Details page:
1.The 'Type' field must be set to Merchandise.
2.Pick Up Later must be selected from the 'Delivery Methods' field.
If none of the 'Delivery Method' options are selected, no restrictions will be applied and they will all be available, including Pick Up Later.

1.The miscellaneous item must be on sale to the POS-specific group.

Items with the earliest 'Start Date' appear first. The 'Start Date' must be after the 'On-Sale' date.
Currently, you can only add existing customers to a POS order.
Users cannot enter promotion codes into POS; however, if a loaded customer has a benefit with an applicable promotion then additional miscellaneous items can be exposed for sale.
Yes, if the loaded customer has a saved payment (including stored value items), it will be available; however, new payment methods cannot be saved.
Yes, customers can pay using a gift card.
The receipt's ticket template should be configured as a Windows 'Device Type'. The delivery method being used for POS must have the Pick Up Now 'Type' configured.

On Android devices, it is recommended that POS is launched as a Full Screen Application in Chrome:
1.Launch Chrome and navigate to the POS site.
2.From Chrome’s Overflow Menu ( the '...' button in the top right) select Add to Homescreen.
POS appears on the homescreen. When it's launched Chrome will be started in Application mode, hiding the address bar and POS will be full screen.
For iOS devices, it is recommended that POS is launched as a as a Full Screen Application in Safari:
1.Launch Safari and navigate to the POS site.
2.Click the 'Share' button (a rectangle with an arrow pointing up) and select Add to Homescreen.
POS appears on the homescreen. When it's launched Safari will be started in Application mode, hiding the address bar and POS will be full screen.
If it still scrolls, double-tab the screen – it is possible that the scrolling is caused because the screen is zoomed in.
