To sort a list’s values in alphabetic or numeric order:

1.Open General Configuration from the Desktop.

2.Select the Lists tab.
The Lists|Search page appears.

3.Search for and select the list that you want to sort.
The Lists|Basic page appears.

4.From the 'Sort Options' dropdown, select the type of sorting to apply to the list’s values:

▪Alphabetic Ascending by Key

▪Alphabetic Ascending by Label

▪Alphabetic Descending by Key

▪Alphabetic Descending by Label

▪Numeric Ascending by Key

▪Numeric Ascending by Label

▪Numeric Descending by Key

▪Numeric Descending by Label

5.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the list was updated.

6.Click 'OK'.

For several lists, sorting their values in alphabetical or numerical is not necessarily logical. For example, specifying the days of the week in alphabetical order, rather than in the order they appear on a calendar.

In these instances, you can use the following process to define a set order for the list’s values.

To sort list values in a set order:

1.Open General Configuration from the Desktop.

2.Select the Lists tab.
The Lists|Search page appears.

3.Search for and select the list that you want to sort.
The Lists|Basic page appears.

4.Select the Entries tab.
The Lists|Entries page appears.

5.In the 'Sorting Hint' column, using numeric values specify the order in which you want to sort the list’s values.

6.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the list was updated.

7.Click 'OK'.
