Worksheet Use this worksheet to plan your hold configuration before you start building them.
For more information about configuring holds, refer to Legends - Hold Types |
A hold is a status placed on a seat that prevents it from being sold by certain roles. Holds aren’t related to any specific customer, and don't represent unpaid admissions on an order.
The following holds are typically included:
•Marketing
•Box Office
•Accessible Seating
•Season
•Private Seats
•Artist
•Development
•House Seats
•Tech Kill
When creating your hold types, consider who will need access to sell or manage holds. Keep in mind that if your role can’t manage a hold, you won’t be able to put seats on hold in Event Configuration - Admissions Management nor Customer Services.
You can also share messages with staff when they select seats on hold (these messages don’t appear to customers).
When picking the hold’s color, remember your price zone colors. It may be difficult to see a hold on a seat with a similar price zone colors. You will want to pick contrasting colors to ensure accessibility. One recommendation is to select vibrant colors for price zones and more pastel colors for holds so that there is sufficient contrast between seats and holds.
