Before you can provide Fortress-compatible tickets and passes to your customers, you must specify the delivery methods that should be used when sending printing requests to Fortress. These delivery methods must be assigned the Fortress gateway to send the request to Fortress and print tickets and passes.
To configure delivery methods for Fortress-compatible tickets and passes:
1.Open General Configuration from the Desktop.
2.Select the Delivery Methods tab.
The Delivery Method|Search page appears.
3.Click 'Create New'.
The Delivery Methods|Basic page appears.
4.Specify the name of this new delivery method in the 'Name' field.
5.Select the method you want to use to provide customers with Fortress-enabled tickets or passes from the 'Type' dropdown.
Hint If you want the print request to be sent immediately upon purchase, select Pick Up Now. If you want some print requests to be delayed (printed in a batch later), create a second Fortress delivery method with a type of Pick up Later. |
6.Select Fortress from the 'Gateway' dropdown.
This is the gateway configured in Configuring Fortress Gateways.
Caution This step must be performed to print to Fortress. Without specifying the Fortress gateway, printing to Fortress cannot occur. |
7.Select the item(s) that this delivery method can be used for from the 'Options' field.
Hint If you are printing both passes and tickets, select Tickets and Passes from the list. |
8.Select the user role(s) that can use this delivery method from the 'Roles' field.
9.Click 'Create'.
A window confirms that the delivery method was created.
10.Click 'OK'.
