To use the Bluefin gateway, you must now set the gateway on the applicable payment methods.
You will need to have credit card payment methods configured. For more information, refer to General Configuration - Payment Methods.
To set the Bluefin gateway for payment methods:
1.Open General Configuration from the Desktop.
2.Select the Payment Methods tab.
The Payment Methods|Search page appears.
3.Search for and select the payment method that you want to set the Bluefin gateway for.
The Payment Methods|Basic page appears.
4.Select Bluefin (Credit) from the 'Gateway' dropdown.
This is the gateway setting for credit cards.

Information If you have created a new gateway and it does not appear in the 'Gateway' dropdown, you must add it to the Payment Gateways list, ensuring that the 'Node Name' is used for the list entry's 'Key'. Include ::Credit at the end of each 'Key'. If the 'Node Name' and 'Key' do not match, payments will be processed as local payments. |

Information The 'Merchant' field is used to store the Bluefin Group Name (do not use the Group ID assigned by Bluefin). |

Information If you are using multiple accounts and 'Gateway' (or the 'account_id' on the gateway) is changed after you start processing payments, any payment methods saved against customers will need to be removed. Do not refund payments that were made before the 'Gateway' was changed. |
5.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the payment method was updated.
6.Click 'OK'.
7.Repeat the process for each credit card payment method.
Now your payment methods are set up.
