Configuring Access Control Fields

You can customize the labels used by Access Control using the Registry or Application Security. Modifications made to the Registry affect all users and potentially multiple areas of the application (such as Access Control and the Desktop). Modifications made within Application Security only impact specific users or groups.

Describes how to customize those fields used by Access Control within a Business Object or Collection Object. These fields can be customized within the Registry (impacting all areas of system) or within Application Security (thus impacting only selected users or groups). You can also change the interaction of the field, for example set a default value, make it readable, and so on.
