Defining Online Roles

If you have multiple sites, you might define a separate internet role for every site.

However, you can also create new internet roles, to restrict the users that can view particular events, bundles, events, fundraising programs or miscellaneous items.

To define an additional internet role:

1.Create a new role for your online customers.
You can do this using the Application Security - Roles pages.

2.Associate this new role with the appropriate users.
You can do this using the assign users section of the Application Security - Roles|Basic page.

3.Configure Internet roles, enabling online users to view events, events and bundles.

Configuring Internet Roles

For customers to view events, bundles and fundraising programs online, you must associate their role with the corresponding event, bundle or fundraising program. By default, all customers created online are assigned to the Internet role.
