Common Functions

Depending on the type of graph/chart that you're using, clicking on a legend item will:

oShow or hide values.

oShow or hide columns/segments/areas of the graph/chart.

Pie/Doughnut Charts

To rotate the chart, right-click on it and select Enable Rotation.

Pie charts can be exploded by clicking on an individual piece or the label/legend associated with the piece.

oIf you are have enabled rotation, you will have to right-click on the chart and select Enable Slicing Movement.

If the original pie chart was 3D, you can switch between 2D and 3D by right-clicking on the chart and selecting View 2D or View 3D.

oIf the chart was originally 2D, you cannot view it in 3D.

Bar Graphs (Vertical and Horizontal Columns)

To rotate a 3D graph, click on it and drag it to the position.

To stop the graph from scaling, right-click on it and select Disable Auto-scaling.

Zoom Line Graphs

By clicking on the graph and highlighting a section, you can zoom in to see more detailed information.

By right-clicking on the graph and selecting Enable Pin Mode, you can highlight a section of the chart and a ghost of the selected line segment will be imprinted on the graph. This enables you to compare the pinned segment with the rest of the chart by scrolling through. Pinned segments can also be dragged to any part of the graph.
