ou can alter the way the application applies the charge based on the level to which you apply the charge. You can apply a charge to your price chart at the following levels:
•Order: The charge is raised at the order level for each admission triggering the charge until the limit is reached, if a limited has been defined.
•Event: The charge is raised at the event level for each admission triggering the charge until the limit is reached, if a limit has been defined.
•Additional Ticket: The charge is raised at the admission level in addition to the price of the admission.
•Included Ticket: The charge is raised at the admission level. The charge is calculated on the net value of the item either as a fixed amount or a percentage rate that contributes to the amount of the item.
•Inside Ticket: The charge is raised at the admission level. The charge is calculated on the amount of that item either as a fixed amount or percentage rate that contributes to the amount of the item.
There are two ways that charges can be applied to an item:
•Per Ticket: Typically a charge to be applied per admission on the order. By default, all charges are applied per ticket.
•One Time: Typically a charge to be applied once per order. To create a one time charge, you must place a 'Cap' of 1 against the charge.
If the charge has a cap, note the following:
•If the same charge is configured for multiple events, the cap will apply per event, not as a total for the order.
Information For example, you have a $2.00 per ticket charge which is to cap at $8.00. A customer purchases five tickets for two events. In this case, the cap would be applied to each event separately and the customer will be charged $10.00. |
