If a cap is not set against a charge, the charge will be applied per item (admission, miscellaneous item). If you want the charge to be applied a limited number of times you need to create a charge cap.

To place a cap on a charge:
1.Open Product Configuration from the Desktop.
2.Select the Charges tab.
The Charges|Search page appears.
3.Search for and select the charge that you want to add a cap to.
The Charges|Details page appears.
4.Select the Cap tab.
The Charges|Cap page appears.
5.Click 'Add Entry'.
A new charge cap row appears.
6.Select the role(s) that you want to apply the cap to from the 'Roles' field.
7.Enter the number of times that you want the charge to be applied in the 'Cap' field.
8.For every cap row that you want to add, repeat the process from Step 5.
9.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the charge was updated.
10.Click 'OK'.
