It is possible to layer a price chart over an event's default pricing model, allowing you to apply new price values and discounts or to terminate the ability for a price type/price zone combination to be active. If you are going to layer price charts, you must first assign a pricing model on the Event Configuration - Events|Pricing page or the Event Configuration - Admissions Management|Pricing page.
When a price chart is assigned to an event with an assigned pricing model, any new price zone values will override the existing ones. If a value is not entered for a particular price zone, the existing price will apply. If multiple price charts are layered, the price chart with the most recent assignment date will take precedence.

If the resulting value of a price zone is a negative number that price zone will not be available for sale.
When using percentages it is important to specify whether you are adding, subtracting or using a percentage of the orginal value.
