You can delete a payment method provided that the payment method is not in use. To prevent users from using an invalid payment method that you cannot delete, clear the selected roles from the Roles allowed to accept payments list.
To delete a payment method:
1.Open General Configuration from the Desktop.
2.Select the Payment Methods tab.
The Payment Methods|Search page appears.
3.Search for and select the payment method that you want to delete.
The Payment Method|Basic page appears.
4.Click 'Delete'.
A window prompts you to confirm the deletion of the selected payment method.
5.Click 'OK'.
A window confirms that the payment method was deleted.
6.Click 'OK'.
