The General Configuration - Delivery Methods|Location page allows you to create a delivery method (tax) associated with an address field (postal code) and multiple string values (M5V 1R2 when the address field is postal code). A delivery method (Express Post) can be configured with a number of location-based rules. When an associated item is ordered, the available delivery methods will depend on the shipping address on the order. If the order does not have a customer or the location does not match, then the delivery method will not be available.

Hint

Do not create separate rows using the same Include 'Condition' and 'Address Field' option. Each row acts like its own rule.

For example, if one row has:

Condition: Include

Address Field: Country

Address Value: Canada

and another row has:

Condition: Include

Address Field: Country

Address Value: USA

the system will try to match addresses containing both countries and will find none.

Instead, create a single row with all of the applicable 'Address Values'.
