You configure the system so that when an 'Association' is assigned to a customer, the same information is automatically be applied to the 'Message Sources' too (Customer Services - Customer|Basic page). This information can be used to help track customer data or to determine the types of communications that customers want to receive.

To set the message source:
1.Open the Registry from the Desktop.
2.Navigate to the System::Application node.
3.Select an option from the 'Message Source Strategy' dropdown:
▪Copy: The 'Assocations' selections will be applied to the 'Message Sources' too.
▪No Copy: The 'Assocations' and 'Message Sources' selections are indepent of each other. Different lists can be attached to the each of the fields:
•Registry::EN::TScustomerBO::Customer::Assocations node's 'List' field.
•Registry::EN::TScustomerBO::Customer::Message Sources node's 'List' field.
This is the default setting with the Assocations list bound to both fields.
4.Click 'Apply'.
A banner confirms that the Registry was updated.
