Zones represent an area on either side of a gate. Gates are physical access points you can use to control movement between a gate’s from zone and to zone. Access to a particular zone is determined by scanning tickets using Access Control.

To configure venue zones:

1.Open General Configuration from the Desktop.

2.Select the Lists tab.
The Lists|Search page appears.

3.Search for and select the Venue Zones list.
The Lists|Basic page appears.

4.Select the Entries tab.
The Lists|Entries page appears.

5.In the 'Key' field, enter the unique identifier for the value that you are adding to this list.

6.Click 'Add Entry'.
The new entry is added to the list entries table.

7.In the English column, specify the value that you are adding to this list.

8.Optionally, you can enter a number in the 'Sorting Hint' field.
This will determine the order of the list’s entries in fields and dropdowns.

9.For any additional values that you are adding to the list, repeat the process from Step 6.

10.Click 'Create'.
A window confirms that the list was created.

11.Click 'OK'.
