3D seat views allow customers to get a 360° view of their seat before they make their purchases/exchanges.

Contact your customer success manager before enabling 3D seat views.

Before this functionality can be used, a 3D model of your venue will have to be created by a 3D venue mapping company (3D Digital Venue).

 

To enable 3D seat views from Ticketing3D:

1.Open General Configuration from the Desktop.

2.Select the Lists tab.
The Lists|Search page appears.

3.Search for and select the Seatview Ticketing3D Context list.
The Lists|Basic page appears.

4.Select the Entries tab.
The Lists|Entries page appears.

5.Enter the venue context string that 3D Digital Venue provided with your 3D venue model in the 'Key' field.

6.Enter a descriptive name for the venue model in the 'English' field (Basketball, Hockey).

7.If you have multiple venue configurations and 3D models, repeat the process from Step 5 for each model.

8.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the list was updated.

9.Click 'OK'.

10.Open Registry from the Desktop.

11.Navigate to the System::Configuration::Virtual Seatview node.

12.Click 'Add Node'.
A new node appears.

13.Enter a name in the 'Node Name' field.

14.Enter the URL for the seat model that Ticketing3D provided in the 'API File' field.

15.Select a default seatview from the 'Context' dropdown.
These options are the ones defined in the Seatview Ticketing3D Context list, and will be used as the default value when a new venue is created.

16.Click 'Apply'.
A banner confirms that the Registry was updated.

17.Click 'OK'.

It is recommended that you only create one Virtual Seat node per venue. If the venue has different configurations, additional contexts can be added to the Seatview Ticketing3D Context list and selected on the Event|Basic page for the applicable events.

If you have different venues that use the same 3D Digital Venue api, creating a new node for each will allow you to attach different Seatview Ticketing3D Context lists.

18.Open Event Configuration from the Desktop.
The Venue|Search page appears.

19.Search for and select the venue that you want to work with.
The Venue|Basic page appears.

20.Select venue configuration/model (the 'Node Name' created above) from the 'Virtual Seatview Model' dropdown.

21.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the venue was updated.

22.Click 'OK'.
The default context is applied to all of the events currently being held in the venue.

23.If you want to alter the seatview context for a specific event, select the Events tab.
The Events|Search page appears.

24.Search for and select the event that you want to alter.
The Events|Basic page appears.

25.Select the context appropriate seatview context from the 'Virtual Seatview Service Context' dropdown.

26.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the event was updated.

27.Click 'OK'.

If, at a later date, you add another entry to the Seatview Ticketing3D Context list, and then select it from the System::Configuration::Virtual Seatview node, you will have to complete the following on the Venue|Basic page:

1.Select the blank entry from the 'Virtual Seatview Service Context' dropdown.

2.Click 'Apply'.

A window confirms that the venue was updated.

3.Click 'OK'.

4.Select the new entry from the 'Virtual Seatview Service Context' dropdown.

5.Click 'Apply'.

A window confirms that the venue was updated.

6.Click 'OK'.
