Before you begin ensure that the events that you want to settle have been assigned an 'Organization' on the Event Configuration - Events|Basic page.

 

To create a settlement:

1.Open Organization Management from the Desktop.

2.Select the Settlements tab.
The Settlements|Search page appears.

3.Click 'Create New'.
The Settlements|Basic page appears.

4.Complete the following field:

a.Settlement Name: Enter a descriptive name for the settlement (Hamilton 2024 Weeks 1-12).

b.Settlement Organization: Click magnifyingGlass-7.X to search for the organization that the settlement is being processed for.
Once you have selected an organization, the buttons in the settlement events section appear.

c.Description: Enter a description for the settlement in the 'Description' field.

5.Click '+ Add Events'.

6.Search for the event(s) that you want to settle.
The results are automatically filtered to only include events associated with selected 'Settlement Organization'.

Events can only be part of one settlement.

7.Click 'Create'.
The system calculates the settlement amount for the selected event(s) and displays the relevant information.

If there is a One Time event fee on a contract in the settlement, the 'Remaining Settlement Amount' will be rolled up into a single value instead of being displayed for each event.

 

Once you have created the settlement, you will have to add a payment.
