To add an existing question (created via General Configuration) to a miscellaneous item:
1.Open Product Configuration from the Desktop.
2.Select the Miscellaneous Items tab.
The Miscellaneous Items|Search page appears.
3.Search for and select the miscellaneous item that you want to add a question to.
The Miscellaneous Items|Basic page appears.
4.Select the Questions and Terms tab.
The Miscellaneous Items|Questions and Terms page appears.
5.Click 'Attach Question'
The Find Questions window appears.
6.Search for the question.
7.Select one of the following from the 'Required' dropdown:
▪Optional: Customers have the option of answering the question
▪Required: Customers will be required to answer the question

Hint
If the question you are associating with the miscellaneous item has been configured as mandatory ('Optional' = No), but you configure the question as optional on the miscellaneous item, the question’s setting takes precedence and will thus appear as mandatory.

8.Select one of the following from the 'Level' dropdown:
▪Order: The question will be asked once regardless of the number of miscellaneous items that are purchased.
▪Order Line Item: The question will be asked for each miscellaneous item that is purchased.
9.For each question you want to associate with the miscellaneous item, repeat the process from Step 5.
10.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the miscellaneous item was updated.
11.Click 'OK'.
