The Miscellaneous Item|Pricing page defines the pricing for the miscellaneous item. The Miscellaneous Item|Charges page defines the chrages for the miscellaneous item.
Versions provide you with the means to change the membership and pricing for a miscellaneous item, while maintaining a complete record of all previous versions.
To define miscellaneous item's pricing and charge structure:
1.Open Product Configuration from the Desktop.
2.Select the Miscellaneous Items tab.
The Miscellaneous Items|Search page appears.
3.Search for and select the miscellaneous item that you want to work with.
The Miscellaneous Items|Details page appears.
4.Select the Pricing tab.
The Miscellaneous Items|Pricing page appears.
5.If you want to modify the pricing for a version that is currently in effect, create a new version.
6.Click 'Add Entry'.
A new price row appears.
7.Select the role(s) that you want the pricing to apply to from the 'Role' field.
8.Enter the monetary value that you want to apply to the miscellaneous item for the role in the 'Amount' field.
9.Optionally, select the 'User Can Change Amount' check box to enable users to adjust the 'Amount' of the miscellaneous item during the sales flow.
10.For every role that you want to define different pricing for, repeat the process from Step 5.
11.Select the Charges tab.
The Miscellaneous Items|Charges page appears.
12.Click 'Add Charge'.

13.Select the charge(s) that you want to apply to the miscellaneous item from the 'Charges' field.
14.Select the type of calculation that you want to apply to the charge from the 'Calculation' dropdown.
▪Order: The charge is raised at the order level for each miscellaneous item, triggering the charge until the limit is reached, if a limited has been defined.
If you select Order, must place a 'Cap' of 1 to the applicable charge.
▪Additional: The charge is calculated in addition to the price of the miscellaneous item.
▪Included: The charge is calculated on the net value of the item either as a fixed amount or a percentage rate that contributes to the amount of the item
▪Inside: The charge is calculated on the amount of the item either as a fixed amount or a percentage rate that contributes to the amount of the item.

Information The following example assumes that your organization is using the Included and Inside Together strategy.
If you specify that the price of a miscellaneous item is $50.00. If a 7% charge is included in the price, the net value of the miscellaneous item is $46.73 ($50.00 - 7%). If the 7% was charged as an additional charge, the net value is $50.00 and the gross value would be $53.50 ($50.00 x 7%). For an inside charge for a net value of $45.00 and an inside charge of 10%, the gross value would be $50.00 [($45.00 + $50.00 x 10%) = $50.00]. |
15.For every charge that you want to add, repeat the process from Step 12.
16.Click 'Apply'.
If you did not specify an 'Effective Date', the current date and time will be used. Click 'OK' to continue.
A window confirms that the miscellaneous item was updated.
17.Click 'OK'.
