Event Availability Cache Timeout

When a customer searches for events, the availability of each event is returned in real time. The 'Seat Service Event Timeout' field allows you to define when the events will be cleared after the configured period of inactivity. The default setting is 7D or seven days.

To change the event availability cache timeout:

1.Open the Registry from the Desktop.

2.Navigate to System::Configuration node.

3.Enter a duration in which you want inactive events to remain in the cache in the 'Seat Service Event Timeout' field.

4.Click 'Apply'.
A banner confirms that the Registry was updated.
