Searching for an Event in Access Control

Scroll Previous Top Next More

When you first open the Options page, Access Control assumes that you will be scanning tickets for the next available event (that is the event closest to the current date and time).

To change the selected event or add additional events:

1.On the Options page in Access Control, click Events.
The Select Event(s) page appears showing events for today’s date

2.Choose an option:

If

Then

the event(s) you want to scan are today

Continue to Step 3.

the event(s) you want to scan are not today

Enter the date or relative date range within which the event(s) occur. Those events that occur on or between the date range will be returned in the search results.

Clicking calendarIcon-7.X will reset the date to the current date.

Click 'Search'. The application displays those events that meet your search criteria and to which your role has access. Events are sorted by 'Series Name' (if one is configured on the Event Configuration - Events|Basic page) and the date and time of the event. Continue to Step 3.

3.Click the check box next to each event you want to scan.
If multiple pages of search results are displayed, you can use the '<< Previous' and 'Next >>' buttons to open the additional pages. If you want to select all of the events on the current page, click 'Select All'.

4.Once you have selected your events, click 'OK'.
The Options page appears and you can click 'Scan' to begin scanning.

Hint

When searching for events using the Select Event(s) page, you can enter/select a duration. A duration is a way to represent a date based on its relation to the current date. For example, 1D represents tomorrow, -1D represents yesterday, 1Y represents next year.

Durations are case sensitive.

You can adjust the number of events that appear on each page of the search results using the Registry - Registry::EN::Collection Objects::TSperformanceCO::Query::Page Size node's 'Default Value' field. This is set to 10 by default.
