The Fundraising dashboard displays the number of donors and the total pledged amount for the current fiscal year, the current calendar year and the current week (Sunday to Saturday) based on the pledge date. It displays the number of new donors this week and the current value of all unpaid pledges. It charts the total pledge amount, the opportunity amount and the goal amount for appeals or funds. It also displays the largest pledges, new donations, donors attending events and donors without correspondence over specified date periods.

Programs

Filters the dashboard report based on fundraising program(s).

Filters the dashboard report based on fundraising campaign(s).

Appeal or Fund

Filters the dashboard report based on whether you want to return financial information (Fund) or marketing information (Appeal).

Pledge Date Format

Specifies the date to use for the dashboard report:

Previous 7 Days (excluding today)

Today

Yesterday

Pledges From

If you are entering a date range, this is the date from which data will be included in the dashboard report. This date is inclusive where the starting time will be 0:00:00 on the selected date.

Any value entered into this field will only apply if Date Range is selected from the 'Pledges Date Format' dropdown.

Pledges To

If you are entering a date range, this is the date to which data will be included in the dashboard report. This date is inclusive where the end time will be up to 23:59:59 on the selected date.

Any value entered into this field will only apply if Date Range is selected from the 'Pledges Date Format' dropdown.

Largest/New Donors

Filters the dashboard report based on the largest/newest donors:

This Week: Displays the largest and newest donors this week (Sunday to Saturday)

This Month: Displays the largest and newest donors this month

Donors Attending Events

Filters the dashboard report based on whether donors are attending an event:

Today: Customers who have donated and have admissions to an an event taking place today will be displayed.

This Week: Customers who have donated and have admissions to an upcoming event taking place this week (Sunday to Saturday) will be displayed.

Correspondence Lapsed Period

Filters the dashboard report based on customers who have made donations, but do not a correspondence records within the Last 30 days or the Last 60 days.

Correspondence Lapsed Type

Filters the dashboard report based on correspondence type(s) that the customers have not received during the 'Correspondence Lapsed Period'.

Donor Attendance Total Donation Value Threshold

Enables you to limit the total value of the donations that the 'Donors Attending Events' will display (if the field is set to 5000, and a customer has made multiple donations that exceed $5,000, additional entires will not be displayed).

 

Components

The components section is only available to dashboard reports. It is used to determine the way the sections of the report are actually displayed.

The following table outlines the configurable aspects of dashboard reports:

Field

Description

Row Number

Determines the vertical order that the areas of the dashboard report will be displayed. If there is a gap between the row numbering (if components have been assigned 'Row Numbers' 1 and 3, but none have been assigned 2), a blank row will not be displayed on the Desktop.

Column Order

Determines the horizontal order of that areas of each row will be displayed. If there is a gap between the column ordering (if components within a single row have been assigned 'Column Order' 1 and 3, but none have been assigned 2), a blank column will not be displayed on the Desktop. To leave a blank column, you must use the 'Column Indent Width' dropdown.

Column Width

Determines how wide each component will stretch across a row. The dashboard is techincally 12 columns wide. Selecting one of the values from the dropdown will determine the percentage of the row that component will fill:

3: 25%

6: 50%

9: 75%

12: 100%

 

If the components on a single row exceed the maximum width, the component listed lower in the components section of the dashboard report will be forced to the next row on the Desktop.

Information

The combined values of the 'Column Width' and 'Column Width Indent' fields should not exceed 12 (100%).

Column Indent Width

Determines how far the components on a row will be indented from the left-hand side of the dashboard.

The dashboard is techincally 12 columns wide. Selecting one of the values from the dropdown will determine the percentage that row will be indented:

3: 25%

6: 50%

9: 75%
