You can print any item on an order that has a ticket template. Items on an order print in the following order:
1.Header cards (such as delivery method receipts)
2.Payment receipts (such as signature cards)
3.Payment signature cards
4.Gift certificate/cards
5.Charges:
a.Event level
b.Order level
c.Per Ticket level
6.Miscellaneous items
7.Passes
8.Bundle tickets (sorted by event, then by section, row and sys seat)
9.Single tickets (sorted by event, then by section, row and sys seat)
As an order prints, the print status of the order updates as follows:
•Unprinted: No items on the order have been printed.
•Printed: All items on the order have been printed.
If you reprint the entire order (without selecting any specific items), any ticket numbers or gift certificate/card redemption numbers will be cancelled and the entire order reprints.
•Partially Printed: At least one item on the order has been printed, but some remain unprinted.
If you print the order (without selecting any specific items), any unprinted items on the order are printed.
The order’s delivery method determines how the order is printed.
For example, a Pick Up Now delivery method may specify that tickets print immediately after the order is created.
Mail or Pickup Later delivery methods may not print immediately, since the order will be printed later (individually or through a batch print) and mailed to or held for the customer.
You can also reprint an order using an delivery method different from the one used on the original order by selecting the appropriate Alt Print option from the dropdown to the right of the 'Print' button. This allows you to reprint the order without updating it and avoids any potentially conflicts between varying delivery method charges.
The following table provides more information about printing the items on an order:
Order Item |
Description |
Header Cards |
If configured, header cards are always printed regardless of the delivery method and the order’s print status. |
Payment Receipts |
Payment receipts or signature cards (signed by customers for credit card transactions) are used to print merchant and customer copies of receipts (for credit card payments). The number of signature cards printed, if any, depends on the order’s delivery method: •Delivered and Pick Up Now (Kiosk): One signature card is printed. •Pick Up Later and Pick Up Now: Two signature cards are printed. •Download and Email: No signature cards are printed. |
Gift Certificates and Gift Cards |
A redemption number is assigned to the item when a gift certificate/card is printed . |
Admissions |
When admissions are printed a ticket number is assigned to each one and the status set to Printed (Order|Seats|Seats page). If you reprint a ticket, the original number will be cancelled a new number will be assigned. |
Bundle Tickets |
When bundle admisions are printed a single ticket number can be assigned to entire bundle or individual ticket numbers to can be assigned to each admission: •If the bundle uses a bundle ticket template: A single ticket number is assigned to the entire bundle regardless of the number of admissions and events. If the bundle includes multiple events and/or admissions, the ticket holder will use the same ticket/pass for each event/admission. •If the bundle does not use a bundle ticket template: A ticket number is assigned to each admission. If the bundle includes multiple events and/or admissions, the ticket holder will use a different ticket for each event/admission.
The status of each admission included in the bundle is set to Printed (Order|Bundles|Seats page) once the bundle is printed. If you reprint the entire bundle or individual ticket(s) the original number(s) will be cancelled and new number(s) will be assigned. |
You can also preprint tickets or gift certificates/cards. This allows you to generate ticket numbers and/or redemption numbers without actually physically printing the items. This is useful if you do not print tickets in-house.
If your organization uses passes, the ticket number is associated to the pass.

The following sections describe how to work with printing:
•Preprinting
Describes how to pre-print tickets or gift certificates/cards to generate ticket numbers and/or redemption numbers without physically printing the items.
•Printing Gift Certificates and Gift Cards
If a ticket has failed to print for any reason, the ticket’s status remains Unprinted and a ticket number is not assigned to any admissions on the order. To print the order items, you must manually print them.
