Once you have created an event, you can copy an existing event to create a new one. All of the event information is copied with the event except for the pricing information.

To copy an event:

1.Open Event Configuration from the Desktop.

2.Select the Events tab.
The Events|Search page appears.

3.Search for and select the event that you want to work with.
The Events|Basic page appears.

4.Enter the code for the new event in the 'Event Code' field.

5.Modify any additional details as required.

6.Click 'Save Copy'.
A window confirms that the event was created.

7.Click 'OK'.

8.To apply a default pricing model to the event:

a.Select the Pricing tab.
The Events|Pricing page appears.

b.Select the price zone(s) that you want to apply default pricing to.

c.Click 'Select Model Price Zone(s)'.
Fields corresponding with the selected price zones appear in the model pricing section.

d.Enter the default monetary value for each price zone in the applicable fields

e.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the event was updated.

f.Click 'OK'.

9.To apply a price chart to the event:

a.Select the Price Charts tab.
The Price Charts|Search page appears.

b.Search for and select the price chart that you want to apply to the event.
The Price Charts|Basic page appears.

c.Select the Assignments tab.
The Price Charts|Assignments page appears.

d.Click 'Add Event'.
An event row appears.

e.Event: Click magnifyingGlass-7.X to search for the event(s).

f.Start Date: Click calendarIcon-7.X to select the date when you want the price chart to become effective for the event.
If you choose to leave this field blank, the current date and time will be used.

g.End Date: Click calendarIcon-7.X to select the date when you want the price chart to no longer be in effect|
It is not necessary to enter an 'End Date' unless another price chart will come into effect for the event.

10.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the price chart was updated.

11.Click 'OK'.
