Information

Screens are not required for General Admission venues. If you are working with a general admission venue, a message will appear on this page indicating that they are not required.

Caution

It is recommended that you create a screen that can hold a maximum of 500 to 750 seats. Exceeding this number would be too small for viewing and rendering. By creating multiple screens, users will be able to move between them.

Creating a Screen

At least one screen must be created so that you can add seats to your venue.

To add a screen to an existing venue:

1.Open Event Configuration from the Desktop.
The Venue|Search page appears.

2.Search for and select the venue that you want to work with.
The Venue|Basic page appears.

3.Select the Screens tab.
The Venue|Screens page appears.

4.Select the 'New Screen' button from the Screens Toolbar at the top left-hand side of the map.

5.Click the venue image in the location where you want to place the first anchor point (corner) of your screen.

6.Place three more anchor points on the venue image until you have created a four-sided polygon. You can adjust the screen’s anchor points.
For more information, refer to Modifying a Screen.
Once you have created a four-sided polygon, the screen detail section displays to the right of the screen. If there are multiple screens, the screen details appear as illustrated in Step 11.

7.Enter the name to identify the new screen in the 'Name' field.

8.Click 'OK'.

9.If this is the first screen being created, continue to Step 14.
If at least one other screen has been created, continue to Step 11.

10.If at least one other screen already exists, the screen detail will update with additional information for the screen.
If you have not created all of your screens, you can edit this information at any time. For more information, refer to Modifying a Screen.

11.In the screen details section, define where each adjoining screen is positioned in relation to the selected screen.
This information will be used to determine which screen to display to a user when scrolling through a seating map. If you set the venue’s display to Full Map, then the full map is always displayed and the placement information is not used. However, you should still define the placement information for use when you create templates.

12.Click 'OK'.

13.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the venue was updated.

14.Click 'OK'.

15.For each screen to be added, repeat the process from Step 5.
