To add a location to charge:
1.Open Product Configuration from the Desktop.
2.Select the Charges tab.
The Charges|Search page appears.
3.Search for and select the charge that you want to add a location to.
The Charges|Details page appears.
4.Select the Location tab.
The Charges|Location page appears.
5.Click 'Add Entry'.
A new location row appears.
6.Complete the following fields:
a.Condition:
•Include: Includes the charge for the location.
•Exclude: Excludes the charge for the location.
b.Address Field: Allows you to select which address field that the charge will be looking for to determine the location (city, country, county, state, street, zip).
a.Address Values: Set the value that the charge location will look for (if country was set in the 'Address Field', you would enter the name of the country to which the charge would be applied, so Canada or USA.
This will allow you to apply the charge to multiple locations or allow you to included varied spellings (USA, U.S.A., US, United States of America).

Hint
Do not create separate rows using the same Include 'Condition' and 'Address Field' option. Each row acts like its own rule.
For example, if one row has:
▪Condition: Include
▪Address Field: Country
▪Address Value: Canada
and another row has:
▪Condition: Include
▪Address Field: Country
▪Address Value: USA
the system will try to match addresses containing both countries and will find none.
Instead, create a single row with all of the applicable 'Address Values'.

7.For every location line that you would like to add, repeat the process from Step 4.
8.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the charge was updated.
9.Click 'OK'.

Information
Once the charge has a location rule, a customer address will be required when the charge is on an order.
