It is suggested that you save your message prior to building the content. Creating and saving the basic information of your message is covered in Creating an Email or an Internal Message.

The content of your messages can contain formatted text, tables, images, and it can include links that will direct readers to specific events, bundles, articles or miscellaneous items. You can also insert tags for customer-related data entities to personalize your message. For example, entering the tags [First Name] [Last Name] would display the customer's first and last names in the message.

To build the content of your message:

1.Open Correspondence from the Desktop.

2.Select the Messages tab.
The Messages|Search page appears.

3.Search for and select the message that you want to work with.
If you have not previously created the message, create the basic information for the message.
The Messages|Basic page appears.

4.Select the Build tab.
The Messages|Build page appears.

5.Place the cursor in the body of the build message group box.

6.Enter the text for your message content, optionally:

Use the rich text and source editors to format and include images and hyperlinks in your message.

Include links to specific events, bundles, articles and miscellaneous items.

Insert tags to data entities into your message to personalize the message.

7.Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the message was updated.

8.Click 'OK'.
