•Group Permissions
Defines which actions a group can perform
•Group Filters
In addition, filters can be used to restrict which records a group can search for and open.
•Group Attributes
Control the fields that are displayed to the group. For example, expose or disable a field on a page, set default values, and so on.
•Group Search Filters
Search filters can be used to restrict which records a group can search for and open when using New Business Intelligence and the TSsearchBO.
•Group Content

Information Some permissions affect each other, so consider your users’ needs carefully. For example, to give a user's group permission to modify an existing bundle you must also give the user's group permission to search for existing bundles. |
If a user belongs to multiple groups with different levels of permission, users are again granted the combined permission.
Hint To help plan out your groups before you create them, download and use the groups worksheet. |
The Security by Group Report enables you to view the attributes, content, permissions or users for selected groups. You can use this report to view a group’s settings at a glance.
